Photo sessions with me are all about connections. You and your fiancé. You two love birds & me + my camera. I want you to be comfortable with me and not be afraid to let loose. This will result in the best photos! My only requirements are snuggling, eskimo kisses, dancing, never stop touching each other, tickling & do what you feel. With 5 years of experience, I know a great recipe to create beautiful memories you'll to remember forever.

Engagement sessions are a great way for us to get to know each other. Our time together won't be boring. Add personality to your session by choosing a location that is special to you. I can promise the more personal you let your session be, the happier you will be with your photos because they will be a true reflection of your love+happiness. When you are more relaxed, you will be able to focus on each other and let the moment unfold naturally.

If you are worried or feeling nervous about being in front of the camera, that is completely normal. I am here to help. I work hard to help you create a fun memory & experience vs. a boring or posey filled session. I like to have fun & get to know you in the process. 

Do you have a favorite coffee shop, park, or restaurant? Let's go there! I love doing fun and different things, so I am open to about almost anything. Picnics, fishing, eating ice cream, throwing paint at each other. You name it, I am up for it! If you need suggestions, I more than happy to help. 

OH! And champagne is always a good idea. (if you drink)

What to wear

Wear whatever you are comfortable in. Some people like to dress up and some like to be more casual. Some do both. It is absolutely up to you. My goal is to capture YOU in your element.

I have a 3 outfit and two location limit. I have found in the past this allows us to get the most out of our time together without being overwhelming rushing all over the place. If you need more detailed outfit help, please feel free to text me photos for advice on what to wear. 

Style Tips: Matching outfits are definitely not required. If your fiancé is more comfortable in solids, try choosing something with a little texture or pattern. Patterns are a great way to add contrast to your images. Let your unique personalities shine through! I would be happy to assist in any outfit struggles or mishaps. :) I LOVE shopping!

[p.s. don't forget about panty lines and bra straps. Liquid lipstick is also a great way to show off your MU, but not all over your partner. :) ]

Scheduling

Sessions are usually scheduled 1 to 2 hours before the sun sets when the lighting is the most beautiful and flattering. We can also do sunrise sessions if this would work better for your schedule.

What to bring

If you want to bring your favorite blanket, dog(s), heirloom, or any meaningful prop, this is a great way to make your session unique. Other options may be a bouquet for the bride-to-be, champagne + glasses for celebrating, or smoke bombs if you're extra. Props are definitely not required.
